SC001 - Good Boy

Finally 'finished' up this guy. I say finished, cause I'm not going to go back to this one. I'm currently happy with it, and the Strange Creature Series that I'm doing is really just an practice exercise.

I'm trying to get used to grayscale painting; a technique used by a lot of professionals. All the color is layered over it, and a few details are painted in on top. At least, that's the way I understand it.

Hope you like it. It's 'Good boy' a Lizard-like dog thing. Suspicious of stranger, and quick to bite the hand that reaches warily towards it. Once it gets to know you though, it's very affectionate, and loves tummy-rubs.
